“Optimus”, the soft tones caught Optimus attention more than any shouting could have done. “Permission to take Bluestreak home?”
Prime looked down and to the side. Where Bluestreak was trembling violently, in time with the blasts of color dying the sky. “Go ahead,” he told the black-and-white officer. “And Prowl?”
His chief tactician paused, waiting.
“Grab the others who are reacting badly to the show.”
“But that will be most of us!” Prowl protested. “Our human allies will not react well if we all leave before the grand finale.”
“Go,” The Autobot leader instructed. “I will make the necessary excuses.”

Sunstreaker glared at his brazen brother. “Stop calling me Sunshine.”
“Sure, Sunny,” Sideswipe smirked at the angry growl emitted in response to the hated nickname. “Prowl’s gone, and you know what that means?”
“Means I haven an idiot for a brother,” came the expected snarky reply.
“Nope. Guess again.”
“You’re an imbecile if you think I’m going to help you prank the officers.”
Sideswipe paused in his gentle teasing. Goldenrod was serious about not wanting to being dragged into the admittedly crazy scheme he’d been planning against Jazz. Not that anyone knew Jazz was the intended target.
