Wet dog

Aug 10, 2014 18:09

Got home after work, noticed the dog was stinky and dirty.

So, gave him a bath.

Had to wash him twice -
First lather and rinse got the surface dirt off.
Second lather and rinse removed the deeper dirt.

Now he's clean.

Smells like wet dog, but its an improvement over 'filthy' and 'muddy' dog.

Yay dog washing! I need to give Kettle a bath soon, too - and then afterwards I always need a bath since I'm covered with suds and dog hair, lol

Me too - and this time, I remembered to grab a towel for me before starting

Does your doggie bathwater look like liquid mud if you don't drain/replenish halfway through?
Mind did - but he's (supposed to be) strictly outside, and not an indoor pet, which means more chances to run through mud and lay in dirt in an effort to keep cool.
On the upside: Proper dog shampoo does help keep fleas down.
Not that he had bugs under his fur coat this time. Flee stuff must be working.

At least you get the water warmed up taking care of Kettle.
Dog hair sticks everywhere! It's worse when wet.
