Apperantly some of you guys did wanna a know a little more so here's the brief run down:
Actually, both the older sister and brother are half, in blood, the brother being real close and the sister not at all. And, I didn't want to get technical, but yes he was in special ops, specifically the air force equivalent to the navy seals- called the para trooper tactical crisis intervent rescue something something. Now he's in Jag, a colonel, and getting his own law practice started. And doing pretty moral and interesting stuff for being a lawyer.
and the reason I haven't seen my sister in 13 yrs was because she got pregnant when she was 17 and ran away from home, which at the time was the completely goddam insane woman my dad married in his first try, but then decided to pretty much have nothin to do with the rest of us. For everyone but me this was a sore point or at least embarrassing, even to my younger sister who I dont think can clearly remeber her being around, but I am curiously indifferent. I think I just didn't know her well enough to care, and even if I thought she was being stupid she had every right to go mess up all on her own. Besides, neither her nor her kids are fucked up beyond reasonable repair, and we finally saw her again and it was fun. So I'm find with the distant, cordial, relationship that resurfaced. So, no harm no foul.
