High School Friends
So many high school friends have changed so dramatically; they're totally different people, totally unfamiliar and somewhat alien.
I was able to spend some time with an old high school friend today. This was different. It was familiar. It was as close to "old times" as eight years of growing up could allow. It's very comforting to experience that familiarity again -- it's been way too long.
