Yesterday I went sledding with a group of friends. Sledding is pretty much great except for the cold and wet factor. We went sledding up by Moby Arena, and there were many many people who had the same fun idea. We were not the oldest ones there if that is what you were thinking. There was an incident however... Madee and I were flying down this hill occupying the same sled. Sometimes you can't really control where you are going. That being said, there are a bunch of people at the bottom of the hill not necessarily paying attention to who is flying down the hill straight at them. Madee and I beging heading straight toward a child who didn't seem to be getting out of our way. We tried the abandon-ship method to avoid a collision, but a collision still occured. This poor unsuspecting child flew from the safety of his inner tube and smack into the snow. Don't worry he wasn't hurt, just startled. That didn't prevent him however from starting to cry which made us feel really bad. We immediately got up to see that he was ok. His father also picked him up and he was fine and started to smile a little at the suggestion of giving us a hug, but then he was really shy. We weren't the only ones in our group to collide with children, but I think we felt the worst about it. Otherwise, the day was quite a success.
Lola Update: Lola (my plant) is doing great since she made the big move to my office. She still misses Tito (her husband) who has been meaning to join her but can't seem to make the trip due to cold weather.
