Week 8
God's Love
The focus of this week is God's amazing love. The one thing it took me forever to really come to grips with is believing in God's love. I always suspected I was somehow outside that love or that God would withhold the best stuff from me because of my failings. Then one day I realized that 'every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights'. He created every amazing thing about us and this world. He gave us colors, textures, amazing scenery, beautiful animals, fantastic tastes and smells. On top of all of creation, He gave us Jesus. He didn't withold anything, He even sacrificed Jesus for us to pay for our sin. If God would give all of that and top it off with Jesus, He wouldn't withold anything else that was the best for us. God's love is beyond amazing.
