You can either grab on to the 'Oh Shit' bar and pray that it will end soon or grab the steering wheel and force that bad boy back on track.
Okay enough with the cliches...life just exploded after November. It exploded in October, but I just sort of ignored it until now so that I could finish my novel, which I did. There was a point when I worried that I wouldn't make it, but I was glad that I took the time to actually finish it. In fact, I loved my story so much I want to re-write the first one all over again. I'm not going to. However, I am going to add a new scene, which is already hand written, just hasn't been added to the digital copy. It's on my TO DO list, which I'll post later once I have it organized.
There is a ton of stuff I have to do, lots to do with my writing, some to do with the wedding, which is coming along nicely. A friend of mine, who is getting married about a week after me, said he had been having nightmares about his wedding and I've yet to have one. I know I just jinxed myself, but still. I'm very Zen like about the whole thing. Then again, I planned the effing shit out of my wedding, so there shouldn't be too many issues. My dress actually looks like a dress now. I have the bodice just about complete, I need help with the straps. Then its a straight line along the seam, gather and attach the skirt; hem. All done! Probably take another weekend or two to complete.
So, noveling and wedding aside, things have just been busy. I haven't really gotten a chance to just relax until this weekend. I spent my time finishing The Girl who Played with Fire and Hunger Games. Both novels were amazing! The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was also amazing, but it took me a little while to get past the first 150 pages. After that I couldn't put it down. As a result of my crazy life, I'm taking tomorrow off to go to Trivia Night at one of the pubs...winning team gets $100 off their bill. :)! We came in 4th or 5th last time. This time will be better.
So there's my update; I will try to update more, but who knows how long life will be in the driver's seat. ;)
