21. How has the HP fandom connected you to other fandoms, interests, or people?
I haven't really been connected to other fandoms or interests that I didn't already have, but I certainly connected me to other people. If fact, no lie, there are about 5 people on my flist that are NOT people I've met through the HP fandom. I made friends through the RPGs I've played in or currently play in and my friends who introduced me to the fandom I still see. Perhaps not as much as I'd like, which is partly my fault...(I'm such a homebody these days and with wedding planning...talk about taking up a lot of time)
Still, I made friends. My trip to LeakyCon come about because of the people I met in the fandom. I had such a great time and a tattoo to show how much I am borderline obsessive. it has been wonderful and I know that I probably wouldn't have met any of these people had i not joined in.
So, to all my flisters who are part of the Harry Potter Fandom, I salute you!
