wow. over a month since i last updated. weird. i have had no time. let's see, what interesting stuff have i done since i last updated? well, i went to see kelly in copenhagen, which was wonderful albeit freezing, and it was so nice being in a laid back, little european city again. we went to the museum erotica, which was quite entertaining and interesting. i took some photos, you will see them when i return to claremont in 9 days. craziness. we also walked a lot around the city, went to the highest tower in the city and an art museum, and we also ate some danishes. yum. the next weekend i went to matlock, which is in the midlands of england to visit my aunt and her boyfriend. again, pretty cold, but beautiful weather and we did a bunch of hiking over the moors and hills. we saw lots of sheep. we also walked past the manor house they filmed parts of Pride and Prejudice at, which was lovely for me. the next weekend i went with my program to winchester and stonehenge, which was neat. the weather was beautiful, so we were able to wear two layers and not five. we saw the winchester cathedral and walked around the town, which was very quaint and english. stonehenge was neat, but atone point i was taking photos and realized that all i was photographing was a lot of rocks. ah well. the sounds of the highway kinda ruined it, as well as the zillions of tourists around. the following weekend was our spring break (5 days) and i went with meg (from scripps) and lisa (from lda) to madrid to check that out. we saw the Prado, the Palacio Real, the Parque del Retiro, the Reina Sophia, the Plaza Mayor, and we did a lot of walking through the town. meg and lisa went to barcelona for two of the days, and i stayed with tina at her flat, which was very very smokey. her flatmates were nice but distant, and we slept. a lot. it was great catching up with her and i am glad that she is enjoying her year there. the last night there we met up with lil kell who was there with her family, and also with our friend sarah from high school, who was there with friends,and the 7 of us went out to dinner. yummy. it was so strange being in one place with friends from all different areas of my life together. and between the 7 of us we spoke 5 or 6 languages. crazy. last weekend i went shopping spent sunday laying outside in the sun, taking advantage of it. this week is my last week, which is filled with performance finals and our stage combat final (which i am here today rehearsing for), and it's crazy to think that 15 weeks have gone by so quickly. did i learn? yea, i picked up tools to help me. the one frustrating thing is we never put all those tools together toward something. ah well,i guess that's what i'll do next year. and i am in the process of finalizing my summer plans: claremont for three weeks april 18-may 9 (i think), then to cape cod to (hopefully) be doing the same job i did last summer and living with the oma and then the family when they get there. as of august i will be off to kentucky to spend time with ben there before we drive cross country back to school. insane. i hope everything works out. my family is coming here next weekend to help me pack, so it will be nice to see them. man, i cannot wait to see all my claremont friends again! and it has been so nice seeing kelly, tina, aja, sarah, and others here, as well as being closer to my family. it was worth it, coming here. but i'm ready to leave.
