Personality: Rosy is a very nice person. She was rather lonely when she was younger (at least until her cousin and brother came along) and decided that she'd be friendly to everyone, because maybe that would get her friends. And it really has. She's a bit of a space case at times. She's very much loving and free-spirited and sometimes, she just daydreams for long times. She hates serious situations and she's not sure why. She knows making jokes all the time to cover up how she really feels isn't healthy but it doesn't stop her from doing it. She loves making people laugh and she loves others who make her laugh. Rosalind works extremely hard for her grades because she desperately wants to be a Healer at St. Mungo's and knows that she can't be stupid and have a job such as that. So she studies hard, attends class every day, and tries her hardest not to be late. She's gotten much better over the years but had quite a few detentions for being late. Rosy is a strong believer in justice. Her sign is the scales after all. She isn't as daring as she would like when the situation to defend someone is, but for the most part, she'll let people know if she thinks they aren't being kind or if they've mistreated someone.
Strengths: Both magical and personality: Rosy is very strong in Potions. She thinks it's very easy because it's merely a formula to follow, nothing to think about and consider. She's also very good with animals, muggle or magical. She loves to play with them, even the not so cuddly ones. She's a strong flier, with great balance and dexterity but not much speed. Rosalind is very caring. She'll help anyone in need, by healing them magically or with a smile. She's great at making people smile.

When emotions are all bottled up, it tends to breakdowns, but thankfully so far, Rosy's made it through.
Fears/Motivations: Rosalind's biggest fear in life is being alone for the rest of her life. Now that she knows what is like to be surrounded by people she loves and who love her, she couldn't have it any other way. She likes to surround herself with people whenever she can and she tries extremely hard to make sure they won't leave her. She's motivated by the desire to help people and get their approval and a fear of failure. She's also afraid of being struck by lightning while flying high for Quidditch. She's thankful that as a Chaser she isn't required to go incredibly high but at the same time, it's a fear she's always had.
History: Rosalind Katharina Alleyn was born on October 10th, 1988 to Viola Jewkes Alleyn and William Alleyn in Lewes, East Sussex, England. Her parents met after William was done with Hogwarts. He began working as a member of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad right out of Hogwarts, not even taking a break for the summer. His first case involved Viola and she was only 16. William loved her carefree personality and how relaxed she was when he explained the world of witches and wizards to her. She wasn't scared and he was gravely disappointed when she had to be obliviated. Instead he focused on his career for five years until an accidental meeting once more with Viola. It was very similar to the first time they met but William decided that he would make sure she'd remember him. He “accidentally” met her and actively pursued her for three years. They finally began to date and it wasn't until after Rosalind's birth that William and Viola married.
Rosy's parents married when she was three years old. She was too young to remember it but they tell her that she was flower girl, rather unsuccessfully. They say that she danced down the aisles, twirling as she threw the flowers. It really made it obvious that Rosalind was going to be just like her mother. The family continued to live in Lewes in a little country home with it's own private drive, surrounded by many plants and flowers. Rosy didn't have an incredible amount of friends growing up. Many of the kids were either quite a bit younger or quite a bit older. She was incredibly excited when at the age of six, her brother, Edgar, was born. He was fun for a little while because it was the first time she got to play with a baby. After a while, he was boring.
Rosy was attending day school but once that was over, her days would be boring. It wasn't until her cousin, Juliet, came to live with them that Rosalind's life began to take shape. The two of them were only months apart and they looked rather similar. They loved to think of themselves as twins, but of course they weren't. They became best friends rather quickly and would even include Edgar quite often on their plans. Rosy was greatly disappointed when she got her Hogwarts letter. She knew about wizardry as her dad made no effort to hide it from his kids. But she knew it meant a year away from Juliet at a time. She cried quite a bit on the first day at Hogwarts. She came home on every break she could and once summer came, she was ecstatic! It wasn't until the summer before her sixth year that she realized the two had changed and grown apart. They're still best friends, practically sisters, but they both have other best friends.
Her first year at Hogwarts was incredibly tough. She cried quite often and didn't make any good friends. She tried to focus on school but it was so weird spending class time on things like Charms or Transfiguration. But she quickly fell in love with Potions. It just seemed to make sense to her and it was definitely her favorite subject. In her second year she was named to the Quidditch team. She thought of it as another way to pass the year but it turned out to be one of her favorite things ever! Now as a sixth year, she's been named as the Quidditch Captain. She couldn't be happy. She was also named prefect for about half the year until Corina Mayfield renamed the prefects and the new list did not include Rosy. Oh well.
Significant Relationships:
Family: Optional: Rosy's dad, William Alleyn, is essentially her best friend. They have a great relationship together and she's definitely Daddy's Little Girl. It may be a special bond since he is the only magical person she has to talk to at home or it could be just a special bond they developed over the year.
Rosy's mom, Viola, is really great and all but ever since Rosy started attending Hogwarts, they can only ever shop together or go to the spa or any of those kind of bonding activities, but without the bonding.
Rosy's brother, Edgar, is a bit of nuisance but she'd do anything for him.
Rosy's cousin, Juliet, is her best friend. They're close in age and extremely close to one another. But Hogwarts makes it very difficult for them to be the same because Juliet is a muggle.

She's friendly, caring but unlike a lot of her housemates, she has her wits about her and isn't incredibly gullible.
