the big little post of happy sadness
My best friend and her fiance came over this evening to officially announce their engagement to me--I was the first she wanted to tell after her family.
I'm super happy for them. They are perfect for each other and all that.
But.
She is my best friend. But I'm not hers anymore. I know, I haven't been for awhile. This just makes it official.
I really am happy, but I can be happy about it all I want in real life when she and our other friends are around. This is where I get to be just a little bit sad. Because, while there is alot to be happy about, there is a small cost.
