What a move. I doubt moving over 8000 km across the world is ever easy, but it's certainly harder when you're bringing so many plants along. Passenger planes just weren't meant to support plant-life, after all, however temporarily. They got through the flight alright, though, which is a relief, especially as they were all gifts. I'm still stunned Hizuki-san actually gave me a some of those gorgeous "Tournament of Roses" he's been working with; they're so expensive. The bush I received is small, but I can already tell that it has an incredible amount of potential. Once it's matured a bit I'm going to try and breed a red version - maybe some in more tropical colors, too, like the Caribbeans, just for fun.

I am extremely happy with my new home. It was well worth the cost of having it built, and the hassle of finding enough free space in Japantown for it.  The greenhouse is perfect, and so much bigger than anything I could have found in Tokyō. It covers about 123 square meters overall and filling it is something I'm looking forward to like nothing else. The shop is very nice, too, with enough room to manuver should something come up, and the upstairs makes a very pleasant home. I really miss 'Kaa-chan's cooking, though - after eating it again for so long, going back to my own food feels like such a tremdous step down.
