Day three and I've done my morning routine in its entirety three times! Go me. I've also added an extra step - writing a 300 word story for
writing.com. I don't think any of those stories are earth-shattering but it's writing, dammit!
Yesterday was a good day. Husband cooked stuffed tomatoes and sausages for tea - delicious!
Busy day at work to look forward to, including getting my head around being the PM for all these little bits of things. They might not be projects as such, but they need someone to look after them and love them. And that's me!
And now for Lao Tzu!
DAY 32 - THE LIMITS OF SPECIALISATION
Well, if there's one thing I can say about my organisation it is that JDs are the starting point rather than the end point of our actual roles. I am by no means restricted by my JD in the tasks I can perform. Of course, the problem for me is that I end up doing stuff above my grade that I'm not compensated for. However, I am very much in learning mode at the moment, and I feel that I'm flowing with the stream, which will carry me much further than trying to paddle against it.
