Digging in the desert isn't so hard...

So, I've spent about 3 hours so far digging for Assemblies for the Experiment and I'm only lacking a few Defence parts. Of course, they are the rarest (especially the 'Z'), so it could take as long again to finish it off.. In the meantime, however, I'm levelling and learning new abilities, so it's all good.

Mostly a quiet day in, yesterday. Did nip into town for coffee and mouthwash (my life is sooo exciting...), polished the living room and finished my (last ever?) fanfic - go and read it! It feels a bit like the end of an era. I started ficcing in 2002 as a way of stretching my writing muscles. Now, it feels like I don't need that kind of writing any more - I want to be working with my own characters. But who knows? FF8 will always have the power to pull me back! If you do read 'If you only die once', please note that it weaves in and out of all of my other fics, so it's probably worth reading all of them first. Not that this is a cheap attempt to get people to read my stuff or anything - *looks innocent* But it gives my fics a sense of unity, I think, the feeling that they are all part of some greater whole. Or something...

I finished Disc 2 of Series 2 of Arrow. It feels like the whole thing has suddenly come to life. I will be actively looking for time to watch Disc 3 rather than ignoring it for weeks like I did with Disc 2! In between family, writing, meetings and digging in Bikanel Desert, of course.
