It's Saturday!

So, the week has rolled round again and I'm thinking about getting up and dressed and waiting for the daughter and grandson to arrive. Tomorrow is her birthday and I also need to write her card...

The husband and I had a really nice time last night. The staff were a little over-attentive but the place was quiet, so I'll forgive them. And the food was really nice (sweet and sour prawns with lovely crispy batter for the husband; chicken and cashew nuts for me) and it was just lovely to be out as a couple. We hardly had time to BE a couple before the daughter came along and we've never lived alone, since the son is still with us, so it's rather rare that we get 'us' time. So, all in all, I'm glad I suggested we do this.

Next month, we need to start thinking about decorating. That's going to be fun...

I've sent out two chapters of Mannerley to my Betas and so far only one has commented. But hopefully the others will chip in at some point. I'm not going to make any further changes to Chapter 1 until I've been right through it, so they have time. It does all feel slightly 'too real' and as if I'm nearing the end of the process. Very strange.

Probably won't get to FFX-2 again until I'm off work again. But writing is more important than gaming and watching DVDs is easier on the brain - and easier to fit around other stuff. So, Yuna and co will just have to lounge in LeBlanc's mansion a bit longer.

My job application is also coming along. I'm actually doing a lot of thinking about both the application and the job itself, which can only help with the interview - assuming I get that far. The trick is to visualise yourself in the job and then help the interviewers to see you in it! But I'm rather enjoying the process, which is almost unheard of!

Right, need to do my Chi Qong and get the day started. Bye, LJ!
