Working isn't so bad
So, the lack of recent posts is probably a good indication that work hasn't been so terrible, lately. I've been too busy working to have time for moaning!
My colleague and I are busy with our paid jobs (still something of a novelty) and with trying to get our 'department' (of two...) into some kind of shape. It would help if we had ever had any steer from our line managers - the previous one is all noise and no action and the current one doesn't seem to understand what he actually created! Oh, well...
So, we've been talking about this forever and doing bits of thinking, together and separately. I've been guilty of initiating discussions that end up going nowhere because I haven't organised the time properly. Well, that changes next week. I'm going to write us a project plan on Monday and we're going to meet on Tuesday to talk just about that. Go us!
I've also been working with my favourite colleague for the first time in ages and it's gone well. I'm glad I've maintained the personal relationship in the hiatus.
Oh, and I'm in love with MSOneNote! So useful for giving a snapshot of where things are up to.
Right, need to get ready to take the grandson to the cinema. And it's a beautiful day!
