Spoilers, Sweetie.

Well, the Doctor Who finale really suffered from not being a two-parter, I think. Everything was just too rushed. The alternative Doctor wasn't what I was expecting but worked - kind of.

Somehow, I'm disappointed - and the only thing I can think of is that it should have been a two-parter. Couldn't they have worked James Cordon into the finale, somehow? If they had to have him in the series at all? Actually, Stormy v Kavarian would have been fun!

The Doctor and River still aren't married (the whole wedding thing was a red herring, imo - although it was funny to see Amy's face when she realised she was The Doctor's mother-in-law) but there's still the suggestion that they will be at some point. But is River the love of his life? I'd still give that to Rose.

So, now I'm looking forward to the Christmas special and finding out who the new companion is.

Took the grandson to Speke Retail Park, yesterday - via Speke Industrial Estate 'cos the 80A goes the wrong way. Bought a new DS game called 'Rooms' which is bending my brain in good ways.

Now I need to get moving so I can have breakfast before getting ready for church.

Toodles, LJ.
