Happiness is...
- getting the final part of the Recession series sorted
- not having much in the way of 'real' work
- making contact with the chaps I met at the conference
- catching up with colleagues I haven't seen for ages
We went out for a drink after work, tonight, 'cos Kirsty and John are going away next week to prepare for their wedding in Cyprus. I sat with Tracey and JB and had a good chin-wag about the various bits of work we're all involved in that will all be coming together pretty soon, my conference, JB's conference and how this really is my year. It was a good time.
My new contract still hasn't arrived - I was told it was being sent out on Tuesday, for crying out loud! *growls*
Now that I've finished the Recession series, I can start planning all the other things I want to do over the summer. I really need to crack on with 'Holding on to the Memory' and do some research into my dissertation. I also want to rework my assignments so that they are more like chapters, do a piece on St Bride's and its history, and one on what social enterprise is, and then publish what I have so far on the website. Then, next year, I'll try to trim them down as I hand them in. And, finally, I want to do a balanced scorecard. So, lots to do in the next couple of months. Some time management will be necessary...
Well, that's all for now. Toodles, LJ.
