- having fun at our neice's 21st birthday
- meeting up with people we haven't seen in years
- knowing we won't see them again for several more years :D
Saturday afternoon Luke and I went to the vicar's tea party - really! The only trouble was, some workmen had sliced through an electricity cable, so he had to boil the kettle on a camping stove. It had also buggered up the computer network and heating system at work, so we got sent home at about 10.30am, today.
Saturday night was better than we expected - lots of boogying and good grub. And one of my brothers-in-law has been doing some work on the family tree - he's exploded the 'we came from Ireland' story. He's traced back to the 1700's to a Joseph Green in Cheshire. Billy is disappointed that he's a wooly back *giggles*
Tonight I really do need to get down to some academia. *sigh*
