Happiness is...
- not having to do any student-type work and going to the library anyway
- having fun playing FF7
Work-work is slow, as ever. The things I'm involved with tick along - I do what I need to do in next to no time, and help other people do what they need to do. I'm not boasting, that's just how it is. I need a challenge.
I'm due to have a chat with the boss at some point. Everyone is getting a new job description (no real changes, I don't think) with some new job titles where appropriate. Grades aren't on, yet; they need to be agreed. 6 of us haven't had the new JDs - Debbie and me, the 3 people I work with at the moment and the person who's post I'm covering. I haven't had a chance to talk to Debbie about what's gone on with her but I have a guess that it's about upping her grade. I also think that's why the other four have been delayed; 2 are grade 7 and 2 are grade 6, but Mark has always said he can't see any difference in what people actually do - I think he's arguing the point, and having a real battle over it.
As for me, I think he wants to see where I see my future - which may affect what grade I end up with.
I popped into the library today and got an armful of books, some of which I used in my finance assignment. This is good as there should be some links and cross-overs with the modules! I may crack one or two open, later.
In FF7 news, I've met Aeris and escorted her home. I'm such a gent *giggles*
