Unprepared...
I've hardly thought about tomorrow's sermon - I only read the reading yesterday! It's about 'the first will be last', though - humility, modesty, and so on. But not underestimating yourself, or putting yourself down. I need a hymn, too... Then again, if it's just me, Margaret and Joyce, I think I'll just do a spoken service, with no sermon or hymn.
Monday, I need to start my paper for my interview. The interview for the job I don't want. I'm getting a bit worried about the other one - the one I would want - as I still haven't heard from them. But if I got an interview for one, I should get one for the other. Perhaps the people doing the short-listing are on holiday, or something. I'll give them 'til next Thursday, and then get in touch.
Last Thursday would have been Gangan's 102nd birthday. She was a better grandmother than she was a mother, I think - but I feel I never had a proper relationship with her as an adult. Visiting her was a strain, which is a real shame. I know she regretted leaving her own home, but it was her choice. After that, she just became a shadow of the woman I knew when I was a child.
In 'Azure Dreams' news, I've made it to the 24th floor, taking in the oil pot and the blue cloak on my way. I have 4 girls in love with me, and the biggest house and monster hug. I've built the casino, which is a great way to make easy money, and the bowling alley, which I hate. I also have the theatre, which means I can get to work on making Vivian love me. Next goal is to get the water medal back from the Picket on the 25th floor, and then to get the Healing Herb for Cherrl from the 28th. With the water medal, I can re-open the swimming pool, and see all the girls in their swimming costumes.
In any other game, the above information would, no doubt, require a *spoiler alert* - but this game has no story to spoil :D It's still a fun little jaunt, though. If you ever get a chance to play it, I recommend it.
