On my way to a conference. Sharing a compartment with Professor T. And he's just told me that he he hasn't sent any refereces to England or Japan. I told him he has to send them before the deadline. He said he would. And now he tells me he waited for them to write to him first, because, yeah, I did show him on the websites that this is not how it works, but he knows better. Well, now I know why they haven't written to me.
I guess I need to find someone else to write me a reference if I ever want to try again.
