Favorite dramas of this year in random order
Dr. DMAT (J). I was so skeptical about this drama, but it turned out being one of the best of 2014, even thoguh is very underrated! It's a very touching drama (I cried so much at the last episodes ;_;) and made me reflect a lot. Also, I'm so proud of Ohkura: while filming this drama he wrote a lot about it, I could feel how hard he worked for this drama and how much he loved it... and the results were evident! He did well.
Shinigami kun (J). I loved this drama so much ;_; I liked everything, from the story to the soundtrack to the characters. THE CHARACTERS T_T It may seem a bit silly, at the beginning, and yes, there are funny parts, but it's also sad :S
Wakamonotachi 2014 (J). It took a while to fall in love with this drama, I found the beginning... not slow, because the story is there, but it was hard feeling some kind of empathy with the characters. This was only for the beginning, because after few episodes I liked them a lot. The strenght of this drama isn't the plot, which is very simple, but the characters -human, real, strong- and the cast: there are some amazing actors like Eita, Mitsushima Hikari, Tsumabuki Satoshi etc. Wakamonotachi gets extra cookies because it made me like Nagasawa Masami's acting for the first time ever: I've never liked her, but maybe it was because she played annoying characters. This time she was one of my favorites!
ST - Aka to Shiro no Sousa File (J). I started watching it by chance and ended up loving it! Weird but lovable characters with an amazing, iper-anxious Okada Masaki. If you want to watch it, remember that before the drama there is a SP... and that the story doesn't end with the drama, but with a movie that will be released this January.
Bitter Blood (J). Another detective drama that everyone loved. Ridiculously funny, with a good cast with great chemistry. I find it a biiiit overrated, but it was a lot of fun to watch.
N no Tame ni (J). One word: AMAZING. I'll write more about it in the post about this fall dramas, but it's a must-watch.
Gomen ne Seishun! (J). I'm very attacched to this drama ♥ Without a doubt the funniest of this year, but with some moments that made me tear up :')
You're All Surrounded (K). The only Kdrama of 2014 that never disappointed me (I'm not counting Pinocchio since it's notover yet). Nice characters, a lot of funny moments with the good amount of action and angst.
God's Gift - 14 Days (K). Putting this here because I really liked the first 13-14 episodes, but then... the last 2 were too rushed, and totally pushed aside the female protagonist for the sake of the male one :/ They basically solved everyting in the last 10 minutes and in a very unclear way O_o Still, 90% of the drama is awesome.
Special mentions to Yowakutemo Katemasu: it wasn't good to the point of being one of the best ones, sometimes it was slow and full of crap, but I've grown really attached to the characters and the actors.
And, like the previous years, a playlist with the songs I listened the most to this year! As always, mostly songs that have been released in 2014 and only Asian... I should restart listening to other things.... o_o
