Drama season - fall 2012

Oct 04, 2012 10:16

This season is strange: there's nothing I can't wait to watch, but there are few things I think will be really good... Also, I was excited when they announced Kimutaku and Shingo's dramas, but Kimura's one seems a bit boring, while Monsters... I can't bring myself to watch another drama with Yamapi. At the beginning I thought 'I'll try it just for Shingo', but then I saw the trailer... and... I can't XD
Also Toma's drama... I'm not so excited about it O_O

However, Oda Taisei (Kohinata Fumiyo) suspects that there is a spy in their midst and does not even tell his leaders the venue of the transaction until the very last minute. Hearing of police activities from his spy in the police organisation, he orders a change in the location. The police are led by the nose, but scramble to the alleged venue based on information from their operative. They charge in and seize Oda. However, right before that, Oda had received information from his spy and promptly threw away the drugs to destroy evidence. In the end, he and his men are released. This incident confirms to both Oda and Police Inspector Onodera (Kadono Takuzo) that there is a spy in each of their organisations. Moriya Jun (Nishijima Hidetoshi) happens to see police officer Takayama Ryosuke (Kagawa Teruyuki). A few days earlier, the two of them had encountered each other on the streets by chance, but this is the first time that they learn of their respective positions as crime syndicate member and police officer. While Moriya is a member of the Oda-gumi, he is actually the police’s undercover operative. No one besides Onodera knows that he is a police officer. But the 6 years spent enduring this mission has started to tip Moriya’s emotional balance a little. On the other hand, Takayama is given the mission to find the traitor within the police by the director of the Security Department. Takayama is in fact the spy for the Oda-gumi and has been secretly tasked to discover the identity of the undercover operative in the gang. No one in the police organisation knows that and he is gradually alienated by his colleagues who wonder if he suspects them. Takayama obtains the personal history of the Oda-gumi members who were involved in the drug transaction the other day from Oda. A man stealthily tails him from behind as he leaves. It it Moriya. However, Takayama shakes him off by slipping into a crowd. An invisible fear that their true identities have been revealed to someone else starts to shake them up … …
Reasons: actually, it seems that there are two of them, so I'm still confused XD Anyway, it seems interesting and I'd like to check out the first episode.
