Why me?
So, as you all more or less know, I'm stuck on a rotating schedule and occasionally am required to work 7 midnight shifts in a row. Today, or tonight, or whatever, is 2 of 7. It's quite a stress on my system and on family life and all of that, and last time I had to do this David didn't have enough to eat, especially toward the end of the week. Anyway, since he's nearly 5 months old now I decided to let him have a little formula this week just so he doesn't get quite so hungry. Unfortunately, it turns out that he's allergic to cow's milk. Aagh! We're going to try hypoallergenic formula, and he's been eating some solid food, but I really, really, really wish I didn't have to work.
Other than that, David is doing very well. He's very nearly sitting on his own, and I think he'd like very much to be able to walk, or at least crawl. He launches himself toward anything he finds interesting, which makes him a little difficult to hold sometimes! He's just too cute.
