Im already stressed out with finishing my last semester of school, everything that comes with it, my grandmother and everything else. More things to be stressed about.
Yesterday at school, something very scary happened. I was in digital imaging class. We all were surrounding a computer as the teacher was showing us how to do some stuff for our next project. I started to feel very dizzy but didnt think much of it. I just stood in place and was about to go to the bathroom. I just remember holding onto the chair in front of me. The next thing I know, Im laying on the ground. I blacked out and then opened my eyes and saw people surrounding me. I lost conciousness for about 4 seconds and had no idea what happened. The teacher was very concerned and had some students get me water. Next thing I know, im sitting in the hallway with sylv and the fire department and paramedics show up. They give me air and ask me information. They wanted me to go to the hospital right away. So sylv and I got in the ambulance and they took me to mass general. I was hooked up to an IV for about 5 hours and got 7 tubes of blood taken. I also got a EKG which is a heart test to make sure it was beating correctly. I also got a chest xray. They came to the conclusion that my blood pressure was low and also offered that I get a heart monitor to make sure that everything was okay. They suggested I go to my primary care doctor asap.
I went to my doctor today and she said that I have low blood pressure and probably fainted due to dehydration. I also got another ekg and have an appointment at the beginning of october at brigham and womens. I have to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours along with getting a stress test. Its like the curb your enthusiasm episode. Thats all I could think of. Walking on the treadmill and all that. I also need to back for trigger therapy because my neck is very messed up. My doctor was in shock. Shes like "oh my god have you looked at your neck?" Its not alligned at all and thats why im getting really horrible headaches and back pains. My doctor also wants me to go to a chiroprator and she thinks my trigger point doctor is going to recommend me going to norwood for it. Apparently this chiropractor is the best and works with the patriots. That could be a plus. Hopefully I can go somewhere closer though. Norwood isnt exactly close.
Im basically really trying to rest because when im standing up for even a few minutes, I get really tired. Im going to take it easy for a while and hopefully get better. I couldnt go to work today and im hoping ill be okay to go tomorrow but I dont know. My head really hurts and I just feel really weak. My doctor wants me to get lots of sodium because just drinking water isnt enough. I need the sodium so the water stays in my body. Im just glad it was nothing serious. It can always be worse. Thanks for everyone who called and left me ims. I really appreciate it.
