I have entered the abhorrent realm of employment. Yesterday, I began working at the Comfort Inn, which is conveniently located directly across the street, making transportation a simple endeavor. I was admittedly a bit anxious about the whole situation, but I overcame that threshold fairly quickly. My job consists of an assortment of tasks: maintaining the pool, keeping the air conditioners functions properly, sweeping/vacuuming/mopping, taking care of the trash, setting up breakfast, etc.
The people are nice. As nice as people in said situation could be, anyway. I'm left alone for the most part, without anyone looking over my shoulder all the time, which gives me the option to hide in the stairwell and do Madlibs at will.
All in all, the job is fine. I'm sure it's bound to become excruciatingly tedious, but that point has yet to be rought.
