Kind of a different story, but still a religion rant. damnedmana April 15 2006, 19:25:08 UTC
So right, I was talking to my friend about how sweet it was that her boyfriend was becoming Catholic just so they can basically get married in the long run. There's 4 kids in our class and then our teacher.

One of my classmates was like, "Weeeelll, I mean you guys just have to have the same faith and all." And my friend said that he's becoming a Catholic to have the same faith as her ya know? And, smart-ass me commented that "Yeah, I mean I really don't believe in my Catholic faith all that much, but I'd rather raise my children Catholic because of their beliefs and morals and etc. etc...." Then I remarked that we're super awesome and that 3/4 of the students in this class (AP Calc) is Catholic in a jokingly in your face type of way.

Then my teacher blew up on me. She's like, Catholicism isn't the greatest church its made out to be, blah blah blah, I believe in the Way Church, back when there wasn't a Catholic church when all the people were the FIRST CHRISTIANS and all this shit and the whole class was just sitting there like, oookkkkaaaaaay.

That was my rant.
