fandom these days sucks
The shit that's going down in fandom right now sickens me. We don't know who we can trust and who we can't. Fandom used to be our safeplace outside of the real world. If we lose that, what else is there? Really, just imagine it...It would be a dark and terrible world. I have never really liked people to begin with, but this has made my dislike of them ever greater. I love idividuals but as a whole, people in general can be so unbelievably cruel and disgusting.
Imagine someone ruining your life over something that's probably pathetic. Imagine that you lose everything. Imagine that someone you thought you trusted betrayed you in the most ridiculous way.
What I don'tget is how someone...that is in fandom no less, could cross the lines between fandom and real life when they have nothing to do with each other. Most of us keep our fandom life out of our real life. The fact that this has happened has made me so incredibly angry.This person needs their own reality check because they apparently can't tell the difference between fantasy/fiction and reality.
