[She could almost pretend he'd said 'love you'. She seriously needed help. She gave a giddy little laugh.] If you took me home to meet your mom, she might think we were a serious item, or something. [She thought she hid the longing she felt pretty well. Maybe not. Hard to tell. She sucks at flirting.]
