Who needs a Lakers Game when Youve Got TGIFridays???
funny story of how i almost passed out...
Tonight i worked at tgifridays and it was like any other wednesday night.. pretty slow. I was gettin out of there at 11, but at around ten a group of big dudes walked in. They wanted to sit in a section that we just cut, so I was like im sorry we're not serving in there anymore so they were like alright we'll go over there pointing to the window.. and then i asked Brandy where should i sit them? and BRANDY already knowing something i didnt said nicole sit them wherever they want to be sat! kind of confused i just asked them where theyd like to sit and followed them. They decided to take up a couple tables even though there were only 4 of them.. i had no idea what was going on.. but i handed them menus and i looked up at the tall dude that i hadnt looked at when they came in.. and sitting there w/ice blingin around the neck was KOBE BRYANT! Me being the dork that i am dropped my jaw.. and this is the convo:
me- Are you kobe bryant??
kobe- haha yeah.
me- dude I was soo bummed my roommate went to your game, and I wanted to go tonight but i had to work!
kobe- ooh well look at this .. it all worked out now didnt it? mustve happened for a reason
me- yeah im excited!(who says that?)
after i got off work, i went to the abc store right next to us and bought a disposable camera (yup im a creep).. brandy had offered to give me a ride home, so since i had time until her shift ended-- i hadd to get a pic! They were leaving and i was like Kobe! can i get a picture w/you?? and he grabbed me by the waist pulled me towards him in a hug and was like yeah do you have a camera? and as ryan was gettin my camera, kobe was like aww you didnt go to the game tho! and i dont really remember the small talk because i was pretty much out of it. he was the only reason i wanted to see the lakers game tonight.. i dont even like them.. the celtics are my team.. i just think kobe is one of the best players in the nba. and Ive been a fan of him since i was like 10 haha. yeah so thats my story.
