I had Lunch with Liz Dengel yesterday, talk about a blast from the
past. I hadn’t seen Liz since last summer, before she went to study
theater at Cambridge (this time it was three days before she goes to
study theater at Northwestern). Of course Jeff will be quick to tell
you that I could have come to his new years party instead of heading to
Champaign but *shrug* what are you going to do?
So we headed over to Soul Vegetarian East and caught up on old times, And you know what, we don’t hang out often enough. We had a great time.
She’s going to be directing Harold Pinter’s ‘Betrayal’ in December, which should be pulled of a lot better than Cindy Torres’s stab at Eugene Ionesco’s ‘The Bald Soprano’. I’m excited to see how it goes.
So In celebration of my return from England, and in light of her last couple of ridiculous public outbursts. I deleted Kate Curtis from Facebook and blocked her from IM. If feels a little interesting saying that. I know I’m going hear a lot of “Yeah you should’ve done that shit like 6 months ago” Well after filling Liz in on the last year or so of my life I said that I had defriended/blocked Kate. The fact that I had only planed on doing that and hadn’t yet gone through with it left a little bit of an ultimatum. So I finally went ahead and did it today. It’s a totally meaningless gesture I know, but it’s necessary none the less.
Next on the agenda, Lunch with Liz Naumann that’s also about a year overdue, Top Notch here we come!
