England prevail!

Hur hur, I just noticed we have "gland" in our country's name.

I can now no longer park my car in the carpark at work as of tomorrow, due to it being a security threat (it's about 300m from Manston airport passenger terminal).  Not specifically my car, I hasten to add, as while it may be an ecological threat, it hasn't reached the level fo global terrorism yet..
We now have to park on the other side of our building on a grass field.  A massive 30m away.  Uh...huh?
Everyone knows terrorist bombs only have a range of 300m, not 330!
Not to mention the fact that Manston sees a grand total of 12.6 people pass through its mighty gates per month.  Seriously, I've seen busier bus stops.  Last security threat I saw a grand total of 5 heavily armed police officers patrolling the area while 2 people checked in their luggage.  Does that make Manston airport the safest in the world?

I also had the delight of seeing "How Many More Terrorists Does NHS Hide?" on a charming tabloid front page this lunchtime.

ALL OF THEM.

That's right folk the entire NHS is a sleeper cell for the Al'Qaida.  You heard it here first.

Gotta love the "Fly This In The Face Of Terrorism" Union Jack on the front of the Sun today, too.  While I agree with the sentiment of "getting on with everyday life", perhaps they could have found a little less antagonising form of expression?
Nationalism's fairly pathetic tbh, but I guess racial tension sells newspapers.

I for one am not going to give in to the society of fear, despite what corrupt media companies might like.  As an international spy slash fighter pilot, my life is filled with danger every day, yet I don't hide in my room wrapped up in cotton wool.
You've got more chance of dying travelling to work than from a terrorist attack.  You've got more chance of dying to being stabbed to death by me for making another anti-smoking joke about it being after the 1st of July, than from a terrorrist attack.
Christ, one of our drivers died last night in a traffic accident.  Nice bloke, wish it hadn't happened, RIP and all that jazz, but it's not going to stop me driving my car.
