Memories all dear to me....
Memories I shared with all those that I care for...
They were always there with me...
With their patience and guidance...
Their love and their friendship....

I grew to be the person I am.....
Pain and failure was tempered with love and acceptance...

Now there is another who has come into my life....
Another one to share my life of ups and downs with...
who shares this world with me...

Even in failure and disaster we laugh...
Our friendship guides us both.....
In my hopes forever I shall hold her....

And now with a single step she has taught me to love....
