Home again (I like to be there when I can)
So anyway I guess my personal site can officially be regarded as "in full swing" once again since I seem to be blogging and cartooning on a regular basis. In fact, the cartoons are building up to what will undoubtedly be the unspectacular magnum opus of my existence, an ongoing comic called N.A.R.C. (Not A Real Comic, so named in recognition of my wildly inconsistent art and tin ear for dialogue). I'm sincerely curious to see how far I go with all of this before I accept the truth that the amount of time I invest in creating a comic yields some pretty lousy dividends and move along to more productive projects. It's probably a bad idea to commit to something I'm so fatalistic about, but I have to give it a crack. That way I can die knowing that my failure to become wildly successful on the strength of my creative efforts was because of the inadequacy those efforts and not because I was too lazy/grim to make the effort.
(Another bonus of my site is that I'm a lot less frank about my creative inadequacies there than here.)
