Yeah, I made this super awesome accurate map to give sooch directions on how to get to riverwatch parkway (i can't believe he still doesn't know where that is, or even what it is, probably) just so he could get to the Pilot Wendy's gas station on christmas, and lo and behold he doesn't even stop by. He goes to Subway on washington road instead, and they're out of bread. Serves him right. He got john and paul to pick up what he wanted anyway.
and yes rex, i realize this rant is totally lame, and i work at a news station and i should have something better to bitch about
today i went goodwill hunting (look for the movie!!)in search of the lost firewire cable, new shoelaces, and some really old cool crap that will clutter up my room.
well, let me just say that that was a complete waste of 2 hours (I went to 2 salvation armys and 3 goodwills) heres a broad overview of what makes up the inventory of these "thrift stores":
45% clothes (mostly womens, and mostly unstylish)
20% battered toys and books (the toys that no one wanted)
10% obsolete electronica (mostly broken or way overpriced)
15% "housewares" (chipped dishes, ceramic dogs, candles shaped like Trans Ams)
10% really ugly furniture or really torn up furniture
I ended up finding most of what i wanted at Big Lots.
Well, the firewire cables anyway. Also a big-ass box of CORN POPS for only $1.25!!
