Fondant origami
I have finally joined Live Journal. I am in the final day of a mini vacation/extended weekend, so I'm eager to make the most of my remaining time. Having a few days off (and once again being encouraged by quantum duck) has inspired me to attempt to connect to a larger community despite my busy work schedule. Perusing origami sites today I found this really cool example of origami cake decoration using fondant icingwww.britishorigami.info/academic/lister/icing.php. So now I have to try it. I want to make a rather traditional looking cake with flowers and leaves, except all the decoration will be origami. It will be a rather involved and geeky endeavor, undertaken largely for my own enjoyment. But then I have always enjoyed such activities.
