Not really sure what was going on here. And I was there! It didn't look THIS shocking, but the sky was fairly crazy that morning.
I don't usually manage shots like this, so I was pleased that the egret was mostly in focus.
I think she was nesting, but of course didn't get too close to check.
Geese can be aggressive on the best of days, and if she was protecting
eggs I wanted nothing to do with her.

I had to look up which Sesame Street character this was. (It's Telly Monster.)
