hard drive! my entryway! I am (not) an enigma!
And there was great rejoicing throughout the land: I bought a 1.5TB external hard drive, and have already cleared enough space that my computer has stopped groaning when I open the 'My Pictures' folder. Pre-2007 photos are moved to the hard drive, and I'm moving my 2007 photos over a month at at time. Questions for people who have an external hard drive: Do I leave it attached to my computer? Or just attach it when I need it? Do I leave it plugged in to the wall when I'm not using it?
I've also started the herculean task of making my house livable. This is one of those things which, if done right, will take roughly one year, unless "Clean House" comes to my aid. My back already hurts, and I still can't walk through my entryway. But it's closer than it was day before yesterday.
