The Tooth Update: Still sensitive to cold, and still achy enough that I'm downing a lot of ibuprofen/tylenol/aleve; I'm going back on July 9 to get the temporary crown removed and the permanent crown attached. I may call the dentist before then to find out if the pain and sensitivity is normal at this point.
The Exercise Update: I went to the gym at 2:15 this morning and did some cardio and some leg machines, and by the time I left I was covered in sweat. Not so much because I worked out harder than usual, but because the a/c in the gym wasn't on, or was broken, and it was 79 degrees in the gym. Which feels super-duper-hot when exercising. Or when sitting still. After the fact, I'm glad I went; I had to force myself to do it, and it was a good thing I did.
The Diet Update: I had the most incredible meal Sunday night at a French restaurant, for
janigurl's birthday. It was similar to the yummy meal I had in New York, with the added insanity of SPINACH that was covered in something so yummy that I ate it all. What I'm saying here is that I Ate Spinach, which is heretofore unheard of. Anyway, here it is
Seriously, you guys. I ate all that spinach! The lamb was in a port sauce, which I requested instead of the dijonnaise-y thing it was supposed to come with, 'cause I hates me some mustard. The port sauce was delish. I practically licked my plate clean, which means I also polished off the green string beans and whatever those white string beans are, and the potatoes gratin as well. And all the spinach! I'm still amazed. I've never before liked spinach enough to stomach more than one bite, but this was practically yummy. Because it was smothered in some sort of not-within-my-points-in-any-way sauce. Hee!
There's more in other news which has nothing to do with wellness~!, but I think I'll go watch Wimbledon from the comfort of my bed. Where I might stay all day, because Weatherbug says it's going to be 107 today and they are usually LOW in their forecasts.
