Yesterday was the scout trip to the zoo to build monkey frames. It wasn't a success, it wasn't a diaster either. They younger ones were set to weeding the pen until the older ones had the A frame up and then they would replace the remaining beams. However, it took AGES to sort out the A frame, the kids were bored weeding and were starving. So we had lunch, weeded a bit more to give them more time to finish the frame and then it started raining. And it rained, and rained and rained some more. We gave up and took the kids round the zoo instead.
I was soaked to the skin. When I got home I was in bed with 2 pairs of socks, track bottoms AND pj bottoms trying to get warm. it wasn't fun I tell ya.
Off to write a letter of complaint, start the crap psychology coursework, walk Tintin and go to bed (I was in work today, early start on a Sunday, lol)
