EASTER WEEK
Well, its been a bit of an eventful Easter to say the least.
Friday… I think continued on my quest to make rabbits… I’ll post a pic over on the SnBBelfast community at some stage. I was also informed that they were needed for Saturday night and not Sunday as I was initially told. Not pretty - wool was flying everywhere.
Tintin went for a haircut and came back all lovely and white with pink eyes. Poor love has an eye infection. Bless his wee white paws.
Saturday I managed to get all the rabbits done but it took all day and I had to take Tintin to the vet, spent a small fortune on an injection, seeing the vets face, eye drops, antibiotics and anti itch tablets, and THEN I had to get ready to go to the engagement party, which was great fun despite me annoying a few people by the lack of movement in the general direction of the dancefloor. I enjoyed watching everyone else though, and after we were near enough thrown out, Nicky and I went in search of a ’dirty big chicken tikka chip’ which we found, devoured in the car and really shouldn’t have eaten at 1am. Lessons were learnt though, always have napkins so it doesn’t go all down the front of your top.
Sunday was good. I minded Siobhan. Which was great because it meant I didn’t have to go to mass…. She had to go on the Saturday night while I was out and the parent’s didn’t want to subject her again, so we played, got her dressed and ready to go to Donegal, and when they left….. peace decended upon the household. Pyjamas remained on until approximately 3 minutes before I had to leave for the picnic. Yes, Nicky, Beckie, Ryan, Tintin and myself went for a walk and a picnic and it was fin despite the VERY short walk and the bit of wind while munching sandwiches. I enjoyed it anyway.
Monday… we were supposed to go to J1 but there was a transport issue so it was put off until Tuesday. Instead, I repainted one of my walls, made 2 pin cushions, ¾ of my apron and I did something else too but I can’t remember what it was. It was a productive day though… damned if I know now.
Tuesday was J1 day and somehow I ended up spending money on stuff, mostly for Siobhan in case the cardigan didn’t work out. But back at the house its nearly done! Just a sleeve, hood, and button holes to go and the buttons to sew on and then its done! YAY!
Today, I had issued with getting out of bed. But I’m glad I managed it because as you can see from the other post today, I’ve been kept on, hooray! Its also my mothers birthday and I’ve rang the mobile 5 times and not once have they answered it. Parent’s.
Tonights plan is to do the sleeve of the cardigan and get that sucker finished by the weekend!!!
