Evening all....just back from the hockey and we won 5-1, and it was just like the good old days when I used to go, lots of fights, lol.
I'm loaded with the cold and all sneezy...and now my throat and ears hurt from the noise and screaming at the hockey. It'll be a good while before we go again though so it was a good enough match to end on.
Horseriding on Thursday was really good considering the shambles of the week before, and we were told we could either go over a couple of jumps without stirrups or just canter around the arena. I decided not to do the jumps since I'm pretty bad at the cantering thing anyway, but I got round to the front of the jump and decided what the hell, went for it, and managed to stay on, lol. Triumph! But the thing with the horseriding is, I seem to have a good week, then a bad week. Bugger.
So lets see... what else? I've got XP on my computer, but have to get a more up to date version of MSN...the version on XP doesn't have the icons or nudges! Disgraceful! So I'll get that done hopefully tomorrow and then install wimamp etc and get all my tunes and videos and icons and stuff back on. I think Thomas is taking Siobhan out somewhere, so that'll give me a chance to do the computer stuff and gut my room.
What else... I'm on a bit of a ramble now so I better make this post worth it, lol. I got my repeat of 'magic pills' and some zinc to try and combat ye olde cold sores...still can't work out how I got one on my cheek. Work's ok, but I can't wait til Rob gets back so I actually have some work to do. I'm doing the other teams reviews for crying out loud!!!!
I finished a book on Thursday called the Genesis Code and its really quite good. Possibly one for the book club...which reminds me. I need to do a post to see what the story is with that. One meeting and it all went to pot, lol. Typical of things when you're trying to juggle work, school etc.
