These are the days of our lives...

Work, up until this past week, was decent enough. Paychecks were enough to halve - half for the savings account and the rest to split amongst college funds and whatever else I needed (mainly gas). Then, on Friday, my boss says she's cutting back my hours (I was working Monday from 11:00-5:00, Wednesday from 10:00-2:30, and Friday from 9:30-12:00). Everyone is getting cut back because she keeps hiring new people (five within one week and it's after the rush!) and wants to give everyone a chance to work. So, I will get no more than two days a week for four hours a day. This week, I only work Monday for four hours. Some weeks, I may not work at all. Yet, she says I'm a good worker and doesn't want to lose me. So, I'm working for gas money now. Not. Worth. It. If I don't get my hours back, I shall begin looking else where.

Rehearsals for "The Ghost Sonata" are under way. What on earth in my audition said, "Yup, she can dance"? We've had two dance rehearsals so far. The first one nearly put me in a wheel chair. Only one dance has been taught. I keep reminding myself that. To make it even better, I shall be in a Victorian outfit with Victorian heels. Yippee. I then have a quick change so I get to throw on a different gown and a wig and become The Lady In Black...who will be wearing an emerald and black dress. Sure, why not. No, it'll all be good. It's a new experience, dancing this...new-age, modern, waltz dance. Goes on the resume and whatnot. Oh, and I'm now the Treasurer of The PBCC Players. How on earth did I get sucked into this life?

Classes are going good. I sometimes forget I am in classes, since they aren't academic ones, like math or English. Which is why I seem to always do my homework two days before class...because I forget. Acting is mainly reading from the textbook, although we will be getting our first monologue on Tuesday. Playwriting had us write a two page dialogue and a plot summary for our ten minute play. And the reading from the textbook is beyond boring. We also had to write five or six pages for our ten minute play, which I did. My parents are not going to be proofreading this one any time soon.

I finally got the DVD for the directing class one acts! FINALLY! Now I just have to track down the Circles of Seven Eves DVD. And perhaps the friggin' pictures from the Winter One Acts.

Alex has been sick, but this Friday I went over to his place after rehearsal for a few hours before a third Halo party commenced. While I didn't play, observing was way too much fun.

I'm having trouble with Photobucket, so I haven't been able to get the pictures up that I wanted. Soon, hopefully. I'm also trying to get my iTunes Widget on here, but it's saying the video is invalid. CompuServe sucks.
