The days in November are passing by normally

That horrid mid-term I wrote about in my previous post went better than I expected. I got a 93%. I’m still so angry with the whole situation, though.

Anyway, we’re winding down the semester. Fall semesters go so much faster for me. Spring semesters drag on and never end. Spanish all of a sudden became about “learning Spanish.” Suddenly, we have to learn real concepts. I mean, we were learning before, but now we’re dealing with entire sentences, paragraphs, and conversations. It really came out of the blue and I’m more confused about how this suddenly happened rather than the actual lessons themselves. Stage Management has involved a lot of coffee classes. That’s really all I’ll say about that. And Drama for the Stage and Screen is annoying me. I’m starting to getting pissed at myself and everyone else because I usually like what others don’t like and dislike what everyone likes.

Last weekend Alex and I had a sidewalk sale at a consignment shop. It was so draining! I sold a lot of my Dad’s tools. I made $201.50…and it all went to bills. Goody. I’m excited, though, because Alex and I are going to a huge fall garage sale at the fair grounds on Sunday! It’s been so long since I’ve been to any type of garage sale.

Josh and I have begun rehearsing our scene for KCACTF. I enjoy working on the scenes, but I’m not so thrilled about actually attending the festival.

For a lot of random information: 1) At work, I’m putting together the new A.S. degree program for the theatre department. Who know all this was involved?! 2) Java and Licky are doing well. Licky got Java’s URI, but she’s doing well. 3) I’m determined to get a digital SLR camera because I am sick and tired of film! I’ve been bidding on Nikon D40s on eBay; I will win one, gosh darn it! 4) And for whatever reason, I’m addicted to The Next Iron Chef.

Finally, Alex and I enrolled in classes at FAU for the spring semester. We’re taking Theatre History II and Sound Design for the Theatre together, and he’s taking a history class for his minor, and I’m taking Hitler and Nazi Germany for my certificate. We have to wait to enroll in Spanish II at PBCC and as of right now, the day/time we wanted is full.
