The Importance of Being Earnest is over. I’m elated. It gets old going to every show and having to stay the entire time in the lobby area, although I did watch the last matinee because my parents came to that show. I’m glad they had an afternoon out. It broke up their daily at-home routine. Alex and I didn’t help with strike nor did we go to the cast party. We didn’t feel a part of the cast or crew and we were just sick of everything. We went to Denny’s instead and celebrated the end of it all with a fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge.

So now we’re onto Side Man. Oh, the trials and tribulations with that. I’ll spare the details, but it’s wrecking havoc on my attitude. I am rather proud of myself for setting up a lending deal with an antique shop. We’re getting three antique lamps and a 1950s telephone for 2.5% of the total cost.

I’ve bought my pajamas for Fallout. I think I’m pretty much off book. I mean, they’ll be hesitation, but I think I’m rather solid. Now it’s time to ready programs for that and get everything set for the donations for the MS society.

I’m debating whether or not to audition for A Streetcar Named Desire. I’m on the look-out for a monologue to memorize just in case. I’m just wondering whether I want to do this to myself again! :)~

Oh, and yes, classes are still about. I have a quiz tomorrow in Art Appreciation, so I’m studying for that. And I have to read The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter for Script Analysis.

Regardless of this stuff, I’m going to relish my Sunday off.
