Well im bored so i thought id post!!
Sigh..after american idol finishes tonight i will have no shows to look forward too until july when SGA airs...much as the spoilers continue to disappoint, my interest in shep has not wavered...plus that BT spoiler has me a tiny bit more optimistic, but i wont let myself get carried away....ill be pessimistically optimistic, to steal my cookie's phrase heh.
So cookie was amazing in the finale but archie got all the praise as ever even though he did the same old boring crap hes been doing since he entered the competition.....i just hope that cookie wins.........he deserves it the most. i (almost!) wish i hadnt gotten so attached to cookie because if he looses, even though im sure he'll do well either way, ill actually be devestated...sad i know! DCFTW...please! Will be getting up early to check that!
Now onto another show that finished this week NCIS 2 hour finale......ramble ahead
Oh my god.......if they do a "house" to ncis then i am not watching it next season......i hope just like Gibbs "retiring" in season 3 its just a very temporary thing to get the viewers back in september because finales must have a nice big shock.........because them killing off jenny wasnt big enough? (yeh ok we all suspected it!)....but its a seriously crap idea to split the team up (SGA tptb hear me as well, its not just ncis thats been sucking in that department lately!) and if its part of a new direction the show is taking, then im not taking it im out of there....i love tony but im not sure its enough to keep me hanging around. I will just have to keep an eye on those spoilers, not that there are many for this show!
anyway yeh so jenny died, i got a little teary because everyone else was upset, but im glad it was her out of everyone.....i hate that new AD vance though....yuck.....can we get a new one of those next season (if im watching it!)....erm to be honest though i was pretty bored watching it too...too much franks who i just dont get the appeal of, although he did whump tony way back in season 4 so he gets a point for that lol...too much jenny (but since it was her last ep ill give her a pass for that!)...too little team again...and not much happened really. The tony/ziva stuff was back...hints of things to come perhaps? speaking of next season, i really want that tony/gibbs story, there just isnt enough of them together anymore...and more tony whump too...the broken nose and almost falling off a carpark...well they were no SWAK or missing.....we had some nice emo whump but ill always prefer the physical!
season 5 overall was a bit of a let down though, after my initial exitement of falling in love with the show and watching the first 3 seasons on dvd...erm a ridiculous amount of times...well lets just say the show seems to have lost some of that charm it had! Im hoping season 6 will be better but they need to sort it out! There were some enjoyable eps dont get me wrong but season 5 was just a bit.....meh overall...season 4 wasnt that great either.....i hope they didnt peak in season 3 and now its just gonna go down hill!
Thats it.....all my other programmes are on hiatus now.........i guess i could watch my TV lol i watch everything online these days!
real life............nothing new to report really..........didnt get that job i had the interview for...:( Still i continue the search...both me and my mum are off work at the moment so its a really sucky situation. My original plan was to get up to oxford eventually (ideally having saved some money) but its at the point where im thinking that could happen sooner rather than later...there are a lot more jobs in oxford than down here believe me, plus id have more of a life im sure.....oh well.............at least for now i have vancouver to look forward too...woohoo! its getting closer!!
Damn just remembered something else to look forward too tomorrow...the dentist.....woo /sarcasm
After 4 years of wearing braces and going to the orthodontist and dentist to have teeth extracted and pulled around and what not....well you understand why its not a visit i enjoy making!!
