The Daily Kos has an
article on Electronic Vehicle Subsidies, which comes complete with a remarkably comprehensive and concise list of EVs available and soon-to-be available, along with handy links to sites where you can provide feedback or nudge carmakers.
To my surprise, the planned $6,000 - $40,000 subsidy is a bipartisan product, backed by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah). The article even provides his phone number, so you can call and congratulate him for breaking ranks and moving in the direction of reduced oil sales.
