rockacademie .. (school for those about to rock ) \m/
today i went to the rockacademie in Tilburg ...
Moos went with me ..
very nice of her .. cause she's almost certain to studie for photographer and that's something you can't studie at the rockacademie
but we both like to sing and play guitar .. the only difference is that she's good at both .. and i'm not ;) but that doesn't matter .. i will be too some day .. ;)
first we got some information about the education ..
and i got an apllication ...
and some plectrums .. ;)
then we went to see an prestation that would fill us in about everything that has something to do with the education ...
really i can't hear the words leerarrangementen,compententies anymore ..
ppfff BORING !!!
after a to long speech .. there was an ,skills' band that played 3 songs ...
a really good band i have to admit ... with a few great songs ...
ofcourse it were all students .. and the songs were self-written ..
i almost had to cry .. cause it were such nice songs .. and i really thought .. yeah this is my dream ,this is what i want to do for the rest of my life ..
and then me being so over-emotional .. and those thoughts mixed with some beautiful songs ... yeahh .. that delivers some tears...
so i rubbed in my eyes ... aaah vliegjes ! :P but i quickly put myself togheter ..before anyone saw me like that ..
pff somethimes i'm really pathetic .. but it's funny too .. i guess
after the ,mini concert' moos and me went to a hearing test ... but when we got there we found out that the individual test was really individual .. so whe chickend-out .. and decided to go too an workshop that was called : does you english rock ?
It was all about how you wright a song in proper english
and to use the C.A.N methode in you pronounciantion... Confident ,Accurate ,Natural... if you would speak in english and put those three words in your speaking .. than you would sound like an native english speaker
then we went to an vocal skills presentation ...
about what you had to do to get in ...
and how strict the admition rules where
cause for vocals they get every year about 400/500 apllies
and there only 15 spaces
so that's like mission immpossible to get in.
anyway .. after the smashed my dream into tiny pieces
there were 2 girls who perfomed they were in the first year of vocals ..
and they were amazing ...
the first girl ,irma .. seemed so familiar to me .. i thougt i knew here from horse riding ... im so glad that i dind't spoke to her then.... because in the car moos told me that she was irma from idols ... the 2 episode .. she ended fifth ...
imagine if i did spoke to her .. heej i know from somewhere ...do you by any coinsendence ride horse ?
haha .. i bet she would laugh right into my face ..
so for onse me being shy.. saved my ass
then we went to the guitar skills presentation
first there was a blues demonstration by angelo de rijke .... owh my god .. does he know how to play guitar or does't he ;) ....
ow my gosh !!!!!!!!!.. jeej ..i wonder would he always be so good with his hands ;) ... :P:P:P (A) ...oka that's to much information and totally out off line .. sorry couldn't help it ... but you should see him .. damn ! .. how hot can you be ?
anyway .. after his awesome guitar playing .. there was lots of talking .. and blablabla .. i dind't heared all of that .. casue i was fixed on someone else ... i even had eyecontact for a couple of times ...
wow damn those eyes :) ...
and than some german metal gut played guitar ... also awesome i have to admit ...
and yeah .. that was about it ... we went home ..
