validation
so i have been doing my fair share of complainig about work as of late. im not going to get into it, suffice to say that my working conditions aren't the best (in regards to my health), and for the fact that i really didnt klnow where o stood in the heirarchy of my kitchen.
well that all changed yesterday. my chef sat down with me and let me know that i am doing an awesome job down there and that he knows he doesnt have to worry about me when i am down there. but he did come down and watch how we workied together in the kitchen for a while yesterday, which was a bit unnerving. but the only thing he said he wanted to tell me about how i am and my role in the kitchen is that i need to take charge and run it. i have been wanting to do that but it was never actually said to me that that was a part of my position there. so i basicly have the role of a sous chef in my kitchen. chef words were that the only people who have any say in what goes on there is he and i.
